Run Your Silicone Base through your Dishwasher
"We have been using our lifestraw water pitcher for over a year. We love that it is glass and that it filters microplastics out of the water. And the water tastes great. Unfortunately stubborn mildew formed on our silicone base that we were not able to clean with vinegar/baking soda/bleach, etc. We were happy to be able to buy a replacement silicone base at LifeStraw. We really appreciate the replacement parts. Going forward we will be running our silicone base though the dishwasher every month. Lesson learned."

It was a little hard to get it on so that the pitcher didn’t wobble when I set it down, but I got it adjusted and it has stayed put."

- Can this go in the dishwasher?
- The base should be washed by hand with soap and a soft cloth.
- I see no dimensions listed for this product and don't know if I have the 7 or 10 cup. I would like to see if it would fit my pitcher. What is the measurements for this product?
- Hopefully by now you have gone to Amazon, because I'm sure the measurements are listed either in the product description or in questions that others may have asked. My product is at work so I can't give you measurements right now, but I am 95% certain you would find the answer on Amazon.
- Will the 7-cup silicone fit the 10- cup
- Hello! Our 7-cup base is smaller than that of our 10-cup base, so unfortunately the silicone base will not fit between the two models.
- When will the 10-cup silicon sleeve be available?
- We do not have plans for this product. The silicone sleeve is only available for the glass version.
